Hi from the Cape Verde’s,
On the 27th we caught an 400lbs blue marlin on the new Roddy Hayes lure The NAGA, and today we pulled the hooks on two pitched baited fish! Both fish were raised on the cup faced Iduna from Legend Lures.
On the 28th we had 0 for 1 on the pitch bait. Fishing is a little slow, but still some fish around. The local fleet is still catching.

Hi from the Cape Verde’s,
Here is our 4 day fishing report fishing with the three Swedish guys. The first day 23rd Zak took them out, on Amelia and gave me and Steve the day off. They pulled the hooks on an 400 lbs which ate a Pakula Rat.
24th we raised one small fish in the south on the Legend lures Merlin but it didn’t bite.
25th was better; 2 for 4 bites and a couple of Wahoo bites also. We were fishing back in the north. The two fish we caught were in the 300 to 350 pound range, and they ate the Bart Kona Jet and the Super Chugger by Moldcraft.
Today the 26th Zak came along on Amelia, and we fished the north again. We pulled the hooks on a 400lbs in the morning, then we came tight on a 600 which Zak leadered. A good fish and the same time we got the 600, we had another 400 among the lures but it didn’t bite. Also we saw two tailing fish that also didn’t bite. T 600 lbs was caught on Super Chugger

Hello from the Cape Verde.
We fished a few days. Best day with 5 out of 9 bites. In all we caught 8 blues in five days out of more then 20 bites. The best lure for the Beast’N is the RPP from Bart Miller and the Wide Range from Molcraft.
The last two days the wind picked up, and Amelia had to fish on the south with poor results.
Tomorrow conditions should be better. The wind will calm, so we hope to get some good results.
We still have ten days left in April and one week in June, so send an e-mail, and I can give a very good price for some of these days.
Best regards to All

Hi from the Cape Verde’s,
19th: We fished north of the island again. Henrik started with a white marlin of 70lbs or so on a Bart Prowler, then Mikael got a 350lb on Bart Marlin Candy. The blues were biting and after a session of pulled hooks on a few marlins, we came tight on a 600 pound blue on the Merlin from Legend Lures. A great scape and good jumps on the leader. After a short brake, we hooked into a nice 500 pound blue, foul hooked in the peck and a good scrape for Henrik. the fish took a Striper Candy from Bart. That day we ended with 3 blues from 8 bites, and 1 for 1 on the old whitey.
20th: We had our last day with the three Swedes, and fished the south due to rough conditions in the north, and a bit of a hang over (not the crew) We got nada in the south, but over all the days were good. We fished 4 and a half days and caught 9 blues from 17 bites. So far the season has been good with ten days fished. 17 released and 26 bites with 5 fish in the 600s and 3 fish in the 500s and the rest around 300 or better. Not bad for ten days fishing.

Hi from the Cape Verde’s,
Here is my report from the last 3 days. We had 3 Swedes fishing on Amelia; Mikael Nilsson from Naturkompaniet, Henrik Sandahl from Söder Sportfiske and Peter "The Hoff" Tallberg from Berras Testebo River.
1st day: 1 for 2 bites and Henrik caught his first blue marlin of 250 lbs on the Bonze Scorpion.
We had another bite but it didn’t stick on the Super Chugger, and we raised one more that didn’t bite.
2nd day: We fished in the east in good water with bait but nothing.
3rd day: We fished the north side, and Mikael released a 650 on the Andromeda from Legend Lures. Peter "The Hoff" shortly after released a 450 on a pitch bait. The fish came up on for a Abaco Prowler by Bart, then swilled down our ballyhoo. This fish was Peter’s biggest fish on stand up 50lb outfit and the rod was sweet! A custom rod from NZ, "reel rods" stand up 50 lb test bent butt. Then about 1 hour later, we hooked up on a triple header and we got them all. So Ii was stoked to say the least; my first triple as a captain. Every one onboard did a great job. The 3 fish ate Bart Miller St Thomas Prowler and Striper Candy, and the third one was on the Cleopatra by Legend Lures. Al three fish were from 250 to 350 lbs so, so far all our guests had there personal best in regards to blue marlin fishing in cape verde. But we did miss two bites, and the total were 5 for 7.
